The Search for the Absolute Nucleus

8 billion people on one planet. Billions came before us, and potentially billions will come after us. Looking at those numbers, it is easy to feel small, like your life barely makes a ripple and changes nothing in the grand scheme of things. But you were not randomly placed in this world. Your body was intricately designed, down to every single cell performing its job right now. That level of detail does not happen by accident, nor was it built just to be lost in daily routine.

So what is the actual point?

You could try living a life focused entirely on fulfilling yourself. Everyday going about earning for yourself, spending for yourself, utilising knowledge for yourself, and exploring ideas for yourself. But if self fulfilment was the whole purpose of life, why are we on an earth that has 8 billion other people? If life was just about serving our own needs, we really should be on a planet where no one exists except ourselves. The reality that we live alongside so many others shows that our mission here was never meant to be a solo journey.

You could also live a life chasing money. Everyday chasing the next note, and the next day chasing the next item to buy. But why make currency the centre of your life when it is so limited? Tomorrow that money could be gone. If the banks shut, your business fails, or your job collapses, what do you have to fall back on? If your whole identity was built on that stack, losing it leaves you with nothing secure to stand on. Something far more steady needs to sit at the core of your life. It needs to be something that stays untouched no matter what happens around you.

If we were designed with such precision, how can our identity be tied to something so temporary, that can break so easily?. A creation so detailed naturally points back to a higher power. True alignment happens when your entire life is oriented towards the One who made you, making that connection the foundation for every thought and action.

When that becomes your anchor, your mission naturally expands beyond just your own life. You start to realise those 8 billion people were not placed around you by accident. Society becomes a natural part of living your purpose, rather than just an extra task on a busy day.

You stop looking at people as competition on a ladder or background noise in your life. You see them as fellow human beings, far more purposeful than the £, walking through the exact same life alongside you.

Ultimately, fulfilling your purpose goes hand in hand with how you treat the people He placed around you.
