Donald Trump said it plainly: “The Arab and Muslim world are in agreement with this plan.” Translation: Washington’s puppets are finally marching in lockstep. This is not unity. This is choreographed submission. These rulers are not leaders—they are agents, loyal to U.S. interests, not to Gaza, not to Palestine, not even to their own people.
For over two years, Gaza has burned. Children starved. Hospitals bombed. Homes flattened. And what were the rulers of the Muslim world doing? Counting their bank accounts, hosting investment summits, and polishing their loyalty medals from Washington.
Look at Egypt: controlling Gaza’s main crossing at Rafah, they turned a humanitarian corridor into a chokehold, letting misery do the talking. Saudi Arabia and the UAE, meanwhile, strutted in gold-plated power suits while Gaza’s streets ran with blood. Jordan, home to millions of Palestinian refugees, issued statements—grand, pious, utterly useless. Even Turkey, famous for its fiery rhetoric, mostly waved the flag and took selfies, offering optics, not action.
And now—suddenly—they race to the negotiating tables. Their urgency is not born of conscience—it is born of convenience. Washington wants a ceasefire that preserves its settler-colonial allies, and these rulers want to prove their loyalty. Their participation is performative, their concern a façade, their role that of agents, not leaders.
Let’s be blunt: many of these rulers earned their thrones through treachery, even against their own families. Brothers, uncles, fathers—they eliminated anyone who stood in the way. They are sons of colonial systems, bred to obey, to manipulate, to preserve power at any cost. If it took killing your own kin to survive, so be it. Loyalty is not to your people; loyalty is to whoever sits at the top of the global chain of command. Washington is the top. Gaza? Collateral.
Meanwhile, the people of Gaza resist, live, and die with courage that these rulers can’t even imagine. Their loyalty is real. Their sacrifices are real. And yet, outside Gaza, the so-called leaders of the Muslim world chose convenience over conscience, alignment over justice, optics over life.
The ceasefire being celebrated? A tool, not a triumph. A mechanism to consolidate U.S. influence while rewarding the obedient. History will remember the silence of the kings, princes, and emirs who danced to the tune of colonial masters while Gaza burned.
Until a sincere Islamic leadership rises and the Muslim world reclaims its moral and political authority, Gaza can count on no one else. The bombs will fall again, and the applause of the puppet kings will be as empty as their promises.
The message is clear: trust the people who resist, not the rulers who kneel.
“Indeed, the hypocrites will be in the lowest depths of the Fire, and you will find no helper for them.”
— Quran, Surah An-Nisa (4:145)
